SOL SANTE |
We encourage you to come and visit us several times before making the commitment to join our club. Once you have decided to join our club you will be asked to complete an application form and submit it along with an original current/recent criminal record check to the Membership Director. To obtain a membership application, please contact membership@solsante.com
The criminal record check can be obtained from your local police department or RCMP detachment. Some police departments may charge a fee for providing this service. The fee is your responsibility. Once your criminal record check has been reviewed by us, it will be returned to you and you will be asked to sign a receipt for its return. We will not retain a copy of the document on file.
The Membership Director will arrange for an interview with you to talk about what it means to be a member and the expectations that the club has of you as a member. If you decide to go ahead, your application will be presented to the Board of Directors who makes the final decision regarding probationary membership. Once accepted as a probationary member you will be required to pay the annual fee plus applicable taxes.
The probationary membership period will last a minimum of 12 months from the date your application is approved by the Board of Directors. During this time, and ultimately as a member, you will be expected to participate in work parties, social events and generally contribute to the well-being of the Club. You'll find that Sol Sante members are a welcoming and friendly bunch of people and will help you during this probationary period.
During the course of your probationary period, you can expect to meet several times with the Membership Director to see how things are going and to answer any questions you may have. At the end of your probationary period you may apply to become either a Certified Member or an Associate Member. Again, your application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors who makes the final decision regarding membership.
A certified member is a "voting" member and has full "rights & privileges" of membership as well as an obligation to continue to contribute to the well-being of the Club. An Associate Member is a "non-voting" member and does not have the full "rights & privileges" of membership and does not have the same obligation to contribute to the well-being of the Club. The annual fee for an Associate Member is higher than for a Certified Member.
At any point, if you have questions or concerns you are welcome to make contact with the Membership Director at membership@solsante.com
