SOL SANTE |
Sol Sante Club is a non-profit society incorporated in the province of BC. It was founded in the 1950’s by a group of dedicated nudists from the Victoria area. Initially they held gatherings and fundraisers in members homes and visited secluded areas of the island where they could practice nudism. In the late 1950’s, they purchased the land presently occupied by the club and spent a number of years working hard selling Christmas trees and fruit from the orchards to repay the mortgage. The mortgage was finally repaid in the 1970’s and members continued to enjoy the lake, sauna, clubhouse and many social functions.
In 2000, a heated pool and hot tub were added, and in subsequent years camping facilities were expanded. In addition to our pool and hot tub, we have kitchen and clubhouse facilities available for all to use. We also have full service RV sites, semi-service RV sites and ample tenting facilities.
Presently, Sol Sante has a very active and energetic membership of over 160 people. We have no employees, but instead our dedicated members work hard to maintain and build our facilities, as well as ensure our visitors and new members are warmly welcomed.
